Public Meetings

Public meetings will be held at key points during the project development phase to exchange ideas, information, and opinions with the citizens interested in the project. The purpose of the meetings will be to solicit the preferences and opinions of those who participate regarding the information presented. Questions raised by meeting participants, depending on the nature, will be either answered immediately or addressed in subsequent meetings, newsletters or other communication mechanisms.

Comments received at the public meetings will be documented and the information will be considered a part of the analysis and evaluation portion of the study. Individuals on the mailing list will receive invitations in the mail announcing meeting information.

It is anticipated that the next round of public meetings will be held in summer 2008. The details will be posted on the website when they are finalized.
